Equinox Software Inc. ("The Open Source Experts") seeks a highly motivated, experienced Support Specialist to contribute to our dynamic, fast-growing open source support and development company.
The Support Specialist will provide excellent care to our clients by assisting in all aspects of supporting and troubleshooting open source library software, including Evergreen and Koha. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, detail-oriented self-starter able to work well under pressure while maintaining a commitment to excellent customer service. The work location is in our Norcross, GA office.

Skills We Are Looking For:
- Experience with administrating and troubleshooting GNU/Linux operating systems in a command-line interface
- Experience providing email and telephone support to end-users using Microsoft Windows
- Experience with SQL, Javascript, and Perl
- Experience with relational database management systems such as Postgres or MySQL
- Familiarity with public and/or academic library operations and standards a plus
- Familiarity with Evergreen & Koha software and the open source culture a plus
- Experience with library data formats and data migration a plus

The Systems Administrator will provide excellent care to our clients, both internal and external, by assisting in all aspects of installing, supporting, and troubleshooting open source library software, including Evergreen and Koha. Familiarity with Linux, software installation, and server administration is required. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, detail-oriented self-starter able to work well under pressure while maintaining a commitment to excellent customer service. The work location is in our Norcross, GA office.

- Experience with Xen and virtualized environments a plus.
- Experience with Perl, Shell Scripting, and SQL a plus.
